Open Party, create a room and invite your friends. Two to eight players race the same letter grid at the same time. Find words by connecting adjacent letters, then compare what everyone spotted after the round.
Choose 4×4, 5×5 or 6×6 boards, set rounds from 30 seconds to 3 minutes, and mix board sizes in a multi-round party. Optional voice chat, text chat and emotes give you room for the friendly trash talk, too.
In live multiplayer, shared words keep their regular score and words only you find earn double points. Both speed and spotting a word nobody else notices can change the result.
Different schedules? Send a VS challenge.
Send your Pal a challenge and play your rounds. They can answer later, using the same boards and round order. Each round is still timed, but you do not need to be online together.
This makes it easy to keep playing across work breaks, busy evenings or time zones. Enable available iPhone notifications if you want a reminder when a challenge or message needs your attention.
Want a daily rivalry? Compare your scores.
The Daily challenges offer three board sizes. Pals Ranking keeps your friends’ results together, while Worldwide Ranking shows the top scores for the challenge. Play when you are ready and see what score you need to chase.
Tap a player’s name in the rankings to visit their profile. Send a friend request to a new rival, or message an existing Pal.

Playing on your own today?
Practice in Solo, take on Daily challenges, or look for a public Quick Match lobby. Public lobbies depend on who is available; Solo and Daily do not require a live opponent. Your own best score can be a tough rival.

Download GridzyPals for iPhone or iPad. Android and desktop players can join through the web browser. Gameplay is in English, and the full game requires a free account and an internet connection. Optional purchases unlock eligible cosmetics; they do not change the scoring rules.
